Fancy Dress Litter Pick 2010

On Sunday 25th July 2010 it is the return the annual Wilnecote Fancy Dress Litter Pick organised by the Friends of Wilnecote Litter Pickers. This years event is a sponsored event where people can be sponosred for dressing up and taking part in the event and will raise monies for the Tamworths Mayors Charity Children in Crisis.

As part of the event there will also be a parade through Hockley Village with all those taking part followed by refreshments at Beauchamp Park, Hockley, Wilnecote. There will be prizes for the best dressed boy & girl and also best dressed adult judged by the Mayor of Tamworth.

Cllr Lee Bates said “All residents are welcome to attend and either take part in the fancy dress or come and watch in what is a great local community event.”
