Following the news that Conservative Staffordshire County Council are to set a 0% Council tax, Conservative Tamworth Borough Council, along with the Staffordshire Fire Authority and Staffordshire Police Authority have now followed all announcing a 0% increase on this years Council Tax, truly good news for Tax payers in Tamworth.
This will mean every household in Tamworth will have their Council Tax Bill Frozen. Cllr Lee Bates said “At a time when residents finances are under pressure this will give some ease that pressure. We are doing this now to reasure local residents, both the councils are financially strong, and Conservative Councillors are taking a business like approach which has made this decision possible.”
