I am pleased to give an update on the yellow lines which were approved to proceed for Sycamore, Bowling Green and Dosthill High Street last year by the new Tamworth Parking Board.   

The reason for it taking so long is because there are other parking restrictions in the Tamworth area that have been put together as one order and will be submitted together instead of several separate orders which in turn will save us as tax payer’s money by doing it this way.

The technical drawings have now been drawn up and have been submitted to organisations such as police etc for their comments then the official public consultation will begin.   It is hoped after the consultation the lines can be put in place by September at the latest.
